It will be helpful to get the fuselage onto the undercarriage to make it easier to get into and out of the workshop so taday was spent preparing the undercarriage. First the second of the undercarriage sockets was reamed out to 1-3/8". Then the brake mounts were positioned and match drilled to the undercarriage legs. These legs are tough!! Even with cobalt drills it took some time to drill each 5/16" hole and used up two new drills. Finally the wheels were assembled with their tires. I'm using 500-5 tires on exactly the same wheels and brakes as Vans use for their RV range. I'll buy from Vans the spat mounts, spats and leg fairings.
